Electrical Engineering
As a Trainee in Engineering function, you have the possibility to do different tasks like designing, participating in factory tests and site testing, and prepare project documentation. In this role, you have the chance to see the whole project chain from the beginning to the end within the green energy sector in VEO's portfolio. Previous experience in some of those tasks mentioned is seen as an advantage in becoming the next expert at VEO.

Mechanical Engineering (position located only in Vaasa)
As a Trainee in Mechanical Engineering function, you will be working as a part of an experienced project team. Your primary task will be the mechanical design of industrial products manufactured in our own factory, mainly using Autodesk Inventor 3D software. 3D design work includes, for example, sheet metal design and internal busbar design of low-voltage switchgear.

Commissioning (position located only in Vaasa)
As a Trainee in Commissioning, you will be working with the commissioning of our projects and carrying out tests in the factory and on sites. Your work will involve travelling domestically.

Automation
As a Trainee in Automation function, your tasks will include PLC software and HMI + OP design and testing (FAT) of various control systems for Hydropower, Wärtsilä and Industry automation. As a part of Automation, you will also work with System Lifecycle Service tasks, such as maintaining and upgrading of computer-based control systems.

Operative Purchasing (position located only in Vaasa)
As a Trainee in Operative Purchasing function, your work task is to ensure and prepare timely, agreed-upon quality and cost-effective purchase orders for materials, packaging and transport orders as well as forwarding documentation in good and close cooperation with several stakeholders.
