Calendar interface for exam bookings (SeAMK)

4. Purpose of processing personal data/data file use

Students: the student’s email address will be linked to the booking shown in the calendar.

Staff: the name of the teacher(s) will be linked to the booking shown in the calendar.

5. Purpose of maintaining the data file

Consent. The reservation is made by the user.

EXAM is an online examination service and the personal data collected in the booking calendar is used to book the exam room.

The calendar interface is used to monitor the booking status of the exam-system.

5a. Data content of the file

The service displays information on Exam bookings:

• Student email address
• e-mail address of the user, including the start and end date of the booking
• The start date and time of the booking

The information is not stored in the service, but the calendar view uses the information retrieved from the Exam system. The service displays bookings three weeks back and two weeks forward from the current date.
