SeAMK Spring Application 2025
Application period: 24.3.–14.4.2025
You can apply for the following degree programmes during the SeAMK Spring Application:
- Bachelor of Business Administration, International Business, full-time studies
- Bachelor of Hospitality Management, full-time studies
- Bachelor of Engineering, Agri-food Engineering, full-time studies
- Bachelor of Engineering, Automation Engineering, full-time studies
You can apply in the SeAMK Spring Application if you hold a completed degree that grants general eligibility for higher education in the country where it was obtained. Additionally, you must provide accepted proof of your English language proficiency. Applicants who meet the eligibility requirements will be invited to participate in an online interview, during which their motivation, study aptitude, and English language skills will be assessed. If the applicant successfully passes the interview, they will be accepted into the degree programme they applied for.

Find this application period under the Rolling admission (higher education) ( 2 ) on the studyinfo.fi website. During the application period, make sure to complete your online application on the Studyinfo.fi website.
Studies will commence in Autumn 2025.
Application fees
Applicants who are not citizens of the EU, EEA or Switzerland are required to pay an application fee (100e) to apply to higher education studies. This application fee covers all applications to studies starting in the same academic term. Please read more about application fees at Studyinfo.fi.

Admission results
The admission results will be published by 16 May 2025 at the latest. Applicants will be notified of the admission result by email.
Admitted applicants are required to confirm their acceptance of the study place by 10 July 2025, 15.00 UTC+3 at the latest.
Applicants who accept their study placement must also register as either attending or non-attending students for the 2025-2026 academic year. Those admitted who are required to pay tuition fees will only be registered as attending students upon payment of the fees. Please be aware that applying through educational agents or organizations does not provide any advantages in securing a study place.
Please take into consideration the One Study Place per Term –provision! A student may accept only one study place leading to a higher education degree in Finland in education that begins in the same academic term. This rule applies to all higher education. So you can accept only one study place in a degree programme starting in autumn 2025 in a university of applied sciences or a university in Finland. Online interview (Microsoft Tems)
Online interview dates
Eligible applicants will get an invite to the online group interview. Eligible applicants will get an interview time slot for one of these dates:
- 14-16 April 2025
- 6-7 May 2025
The interview will last for 45 minutes. We will send the invites to the interview a few days before these dates. Please mark these dates in to your calendar because the given interview time cannot be changed.
Identity will be checked during the interview. In the interview applicant needs to use the same identity document they have uploaded on to their application form. Acceptable documents include the following valid identity documents:
- passport
- EU/EEA country identity card with a photo
The required identification document must be valid through 13 May 2025. Detailed interview time and date will be announced in a separate invitation.

Required documents
The applicant must attach the following documents to their application form, when applying:
1. Final educational certificate
Upload your final educational certificate to the application form when applying. Make sure to include all of the pages in the degree certificate that the degree was granted with, for example the transcript of records.
2. Translation of your degree certificate
A copy of an authorized Finnish, Swedish or English translation of the certificate must be provided, if the certificate is not written in one of these languages. Authorized translations must include the signature and the stamp of the translator.
3. Proof of English language skills
Attach a copy of your language skill test as well as other required information in regards to your proof of English language skills to your application form.
4. Identification documents
Attach a valid passport to your application form.
The following documents are accepted as proof of identity in SeAMK Spring application:
- Passport
- EU/EEA identity card (issued by a European Union / EEA country)
All applicants must upload a valid passport or EU/EEA identity card to their application form. The required identification document must be valid through 13 May 2025. Please note, that your application form will not be taken into consideration in the admission process, if you don’t submit the required proof of identity when applying.

Information for admitted students
Deadline to arrive to start your studies at SeAMK
New students who will be admitted to the studies beginning in the autumn 2025 must arrive at SeAMK Campus in Seinäjoki on 19 October 2025 at the latest. If students do not arrive by the given deadline and cannot present their original documents, their admission will be cancelled.
Original documents will be checked from admitted students
All new degree students who will be admitted to the English taught degree programmes at SeAMK, need to present their original documents when starting their studies. Original documents are compared to the documents which were attached to the application form. If the original documents are not presented by the given deadline or student has given false information, admission will be cancelled.
