Groundbreaking European University alliance HEROES has been launched
European Universities alliance HEROES has been launched at Thomas More University’s campus in Geel, Belgium. The partnership brings together the strengths of nine practice-oriented higher education institutions including Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences. Together, they focus on smart and digital innovation to make regions more resilient. The network is impressive: 120,000 students and 14,000 staff members, spread across 22 campuses in nine countries.

During the state visit of the President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb to China, Dr. Jaakko Hallila, President/CEO of SeAMK, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the China Network of Universities of Applied Sciences and the prestigious Tsinghua University in China. Dr. Hallila is the chairman of the China Network of Universities of Applied Sciences.
