At the Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences, SEAMK, students are at the heart of everything we do: we value our students and care about the quality of teaching and continuous development. We have close connections with work life. Our campus is in a beautiful riverside area close to the city centre, creating a great setting for studying and multidisciplinary encounters. Campus studies extend with our high quality e-learning platforms and methods.

SEAMK has about 6000 students and 400 employees. We offer bachelor’s and master’s degrees in six different fields of education. International degree programmes, double degree cooperation, active student mobility and exchange programmes, international research and development projects as well as international events are in the core of SEAMK’s international activities.

In recent years, SEAMK has performed well in the nationwide graduand feedback questionnaire (AVOP), which shows that our students are satisfied with studying at SEAMK. They particularly appreciate SEAMK’s learning environments, internationality, entrepreneurial skill provision, and high quality of teaching. The support services for students, connections with working life, and career guidance have also received praise.

The Finnish Education Evaluation Centre (FINEEC) has awarded SEAMK the Quality Label for Excellence in higher education for enhancement work of an exceptional quality.

SEAMK is part of HEROES which EU Commission selects as new European University alliance to boost smart regional resilience.
